Abstract Guidelines
- The abstract template must be used for the production of abstracts. The easiest way to use this abstract form is by cutting and pasting unformatted text into it to maintain the document’s present format.
- Please limit abstracts to one (1) page and no more than 2 MB in size.
- Please submit the abstract as a PDF document.
- Please indicate your preference for Oral or Poster presentation when submitting your abstract. Note oral slots are limited. If your abstract is not accepted for oral, it will be automatically considered for poster.
- Oral presentation is 20 minutes incl Q&A (We would suggest 15 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions).
- Presenters will need to print their own posters and bring to the Conference themselves. Posters should be no larger than A0 (84 cm wide by 119 cm long) in portrait form (not landscape).
- Poster presenters who are students or ECRs (max. 5 years out of PhD) can register their interest for 3MT Poster Presentation or Industry Pitch. There are 3 prizes available.
- Students or ECRs (max. 5 years out of PhD) can also register their interest for oral presentation prizes.
- Abstract submission closes Friday 27th February 2026, at 11:59pm Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AEDT).
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the Abstract Committee after submission closes. Abstract acceptance emails will be sent out the week starting 16th March 2026.
- All presenters must register for the conference and pay the conference registration fee by the early bird cut-off date.
